In writing I have used a poem by James K. Baxter as a starting point to write my own holiday poem. I hope you like it.

My James K Baxter Poem

Frank’s house  was usual enough;

It had a very small garden,  a glass seal, leprechaun statues, a tv, and even a veggie garden  

My mum, dad, Maddy and I did what guests do-
talked, ate, talked some more, and ate apricot pie and lemon loaf

Doing nothing important.
